There is nothing quite like a drive up the west coast. Every chance we get to drive up the California 1, we seize and we recently got the chance to experience one of the most iconic properties in Big Sur so up the coast we went!
Ventana Inn and Spa is one of the most picturesque and relaxing places on the west coast, never mind Big Sur. When your room has it’s own hammock and HOT TUB(!!!) overlooking a forest of majestic redwoods, you know its time to kick back. Nature even welcomes you because as we were taking a nice leisurely walk to dinner at the fabulous hotel restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean, we encountered the same family of deer on both nights of our stay. They were so comfortable around us that we had no trouble taking pics (my Insta fam know what I’m talking about!) Rumors are you can get them to eat from your hand once you earn their trust!
