For some of you, winter is still in full force and for others it might be more mild. Either way, ankle booties never go out of style and are probably one of the comfiest kind of footwear for an every day look. Pairing booties with a dress might seem like the non-obvious choice but it does go a long way in dressing up the look. On colder days, throw on some tights under the dress and the look still works great!

This is my third time partnering with Sole Society and they’re constantly stepping up their game when it comes to footwear and accessories. Closing in on my final post for my Target campaign with Jewel and Gem Tones. To me this was a no brainer, I obviously picked Ruby red for makeup and nails because Red always makes a statement. I don’t have a lot of green in my wardrobe so when I was at Target couple weeks ago, I found this really rich Emerald green purse with really simple gold hardware. What are your favorite Gem tones?

PINK COCOON COAT

I’ve been longing for a pink coat for the longest time and have even tried a few styles in stores but there was always something that wasn’t right in terms of length, color or shape. Finally, I found one online at Front Row Store that looked like the perfect coat and it was on sale, BINGO!

I love the cocoon shape and the color is a perfect shade of pink. I’ve had it over a week and while the weather here in LA has been ridiculously warm, I just couldn’t wait any longer, I just had to. At least it gets a little cooler in the evenings

There’s something so sexy and feminine about a silky camisole. Here, I take this boudoir basic with a cute peter pan collar out on the town. Super excited to introduce you to Maison de Papillon, based in New York, that specialize in amazing and quality lounge wear for women.

I’ve been growing fond of mixing blush tones with either black, white or grey. To soften this all-black look, I chose my new Just Fab satchel in blush and paired it with lace heels. Typically, I would reach out for a blazer but instead I thought my sequin bomber jacket would be a nice twist for the cooler temperatures after sunset.

As we are approaching the holiday season, I thought I would style an outfit that is soooo “soirée-dy” ;).

The Quilted Trend has been showing up everywhere in the fashion world so I decided to incorporate it for this look. I played with my hair over the weekend, I shampooed and conditioned with Toni and Guy products from Target (details above), let it air-dry then curled the ends with a hair straightener to give it volume. Even though I am in desperate need of a trim, I think it turned out looking pretty good I kept the outfit simple but dressed it up with my new Bauble Bar earrings which I feel compliments my red pumps from Sole Society. And last but not least, my nails The Silver Metallic from Essie Polish adds a nice touch to glam up this outfit and really accentuates the holiday theme.
