WINTER FIX

Firstly, I have to express how happy I am to be partnering with StitchFix again! I’m a huge fan for as few reasons. I’ll go into detail a little later on but basically I filled out a short style profile and a stylist chooses pieces specifically for me. Let me tell you that is no easy task! Being 5’2 with a short torso – long legs body type (something I outlined in my profile), it’s really important to me that outfits not only look good in photos but actually fit me well.

It’ll surprise no one that I am super picky and a control freak when it comes to my looks but for the second time (check out my first experience here) I left it to Stitch Fix to send me styles that they thought I would love and BINGO, they freaking nailed it! These 2 looks are all total classic and chic outfits. “Timeless” is the word that springs to mind.

I loved every piece that my stylist curated for me. In my first look, the grey striped cardigan by VELVET by Graham Spencer is something that I’ll probably reach for first when I need to run a quick errand. For my 2nd look, the Mcguire straight leg denim fits like glove. I almost never find jeans with frayed hems that are the right length for me! And I was super stoked when I saw they added a Joie turtleneck oversized sweater in my fix because that is a piece that is going to get a lot of use all the way into Spring. For these looks, I added my own shoes and hat but you can bet I’m going to have a blast styling my individual pieces differently.

If you’re unfamiliar with Stitch Fix, I am so happy to be bringing it to your attention. There is no subscription to sign up for and you can use the service when and as often as you like. It doesn’t matter if you want just a few choice pieces for a special occasion or a consistent style delivery, it’s totally up to you! Maybe you haven’t had time to get your winter wardrobe sorted out. Well, Stitch Fix has your back and you’ll be rocking some cozy sweaters from Rails or the latest Puffer from North Face or Barbour. And if it doesn’t work out, just send it back.

Speaking of winter (well LA winter), I think these 2 outfits I styled are really “me”. These are the kinds of looks that I love putting together and more importantly, I love wearing. That’s the great thing with Stitch Fix. They send you pieces that you probably would have picked yourself and that’s why I love them!
