There is nothing like being here in summer. The weather hasn’t been very seasonable with cooler temps and cloudy days but this week has been really good to us. Well, maybe a little bit too humid for my taste but I’ll take it after hearing all the complaints from my new yorker friends!
Like I’ve said before, ruffles are a major thing this season and this outfit was my ideal weekend look that incorporates the trend and can deal with the humid NYC evening. My basic idea to style this striped ruffle skirt with the the big bow detail was to contrast it with something sleek so I paired it with a navy ribbed tank. Both pieces are from Aqua, an exclusive line only available from Bloomingdale’s. I’ve shopped for so many items over the past few months from this line and I just can’t get enough!
