I love New York. I know it sounds cliche’ but I really love the city! The amazing food, the energy, the people. Sure, it’s not perfect but everything adds to the magic whenever I’m there. The Mister and I made a trip recently to meet with some great people and we had the pleasure of calling The Peninsula New York our home away from home. It’s no secret that we are fans of The Peninsula properties and you guys might remember that we had the privilege of celebrating The Peninsula Chicago’s 15th birthday recently.

The Peninsula New York is world famous and a standout iconic property in a city filled with iconic hotels. Located in midtown, getting around was a breeze which was crucial since our meetings were all over the city. Our suite was so comfortable (best beds in the world!) and incredibly spacious. And as always, it was the ever gracious staff who really made our stay extra memorable. In fact, we were surprised with sweet treats every time we returned to our suite at the end of our day! I mean, look at how amazing those creations are! Executive Pastry Chef Deden Putra is a true artist and we were so touched with the personalization on our last night.

One of the advantages to being a guest at The Peninsula is we got priority entrance to Salon De Ning, the hotel’s rooftop lounge. We decided to take a couple meetings there and couldn’t have been happier we made that choice.  The drinks and bites were delicious and the views of the city were stunning!

When it was time to return home, we did so with a heavy heart and that is the biggest compliment I can give the staff at the hotel. They made us feel so at home that we really didn’t want to leave! But when we got back to LA, we couldn’t stop raving and as you can see by the pictures, who can blame us?
