Now that we are in the middle of Spring, I feel like it’s time to jazz up my makeup routine a little. So When Laura Mercier reached out asking me to try 3 new products, I was super stoked. On a related note, I was actually introduced to her secret brightening powder through a blogger buddy and have been hooked on it for over 2 months now. Now on with the post!

Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation / Velour Lovers Lipstick Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Starting with the Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation with its sheer to medium coverage that I really liked because it gave me that soft radiant glow. It’s super natural looking and enhances my natural complexion without masking it. It’s also totally build-able so if you prefer more coverage, just add more! It comes in 24 soft-lit shades but I chose to wear Suntan for the post. Personally, I love applying foundation with my fingertips first before using a brush, because the heat from my hands will “press” the product deeper in my skin.

The Velour Lovers Lipstick is up next. It’s a great matte lipstick that doesn’t dry up your lips. The formula is so hydrating and I love the finish. I couldn’t decide between Sensual and Embrace because both were such great natural colors but I finally decided on Embrace because it’s such a pretty nude pink shade that I’d feel comfortable wearing everyday.

And finally, we have the Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This product is raved about everywhere and I absolutely get the hype!  I wondered why I waited this long to get my hands on this magic powder and honestly, I don’t have an answer! But it’s an essential part of my regime now. It’s extremely lightweight, sheer and oil-free and perfect for any skin tone. It leaves your skin with a natural look and doesn’t appear cake-y or powdery. Get this product stat, you will thank me later 😉

All in all, I am thrilled to be working with Laura Mercier because these products work so great for me and I love the results!
