Red Suit: Rachel Roy / Coat: Maison Jules (on sale now!) / Shoes: BCBG Generation
We’re rapidly approaching the season for holiday cocktails with friends and family so when Macy’s reached out to me to try out their new MyStylist service, I thought what a great an opportunity it would be to get help in picking out a fun, festive outfit.
Setting up the appointment is as easy as clicking here and your in-store stylist will follow up to get some additional information for things like sizes and preferred colors and when you swing by the store for your appointment, there’ll be some wonderful options waiting for you. Not to mention, you’ll be getting a private fitting room as well, so you can take your time and play dress up.
Working with stylist Ms. Staci Davis and her associate Ms. Wendy McClendon was a real pleasure! Having someone with a different eye for fashion show you things that you might never have picked out yourself, yet still suits your aesthetic, is a real challenge, but something that I really appreciated from these wonderful ladies.
So here’s the final look, this amazing Rachel Roy red suit along with a grey oversized coat from Maison Jules. I absolutely love the hue of true red and it’s simply perfect for that special occasion. It was also a unanimous decision to keep the shoes simple with a pair of black pumps from BCBG Generation.
