I love dressing for cold weather but unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint) LA doesn’t always cooperate. But when the weather permits, I love getting to play around with all my coats and sweaters. Most times I adore the idea of a neutral colored overcoat only because it will pretty much go with anything in your wardrobe. Camel, grey or black are examples of colors that I tend to favor. For this look, I layered this fabulous grey overcoat over a plain white tee and a mustard sweater to give it a pop of color which is perfect for a casual day out.

I spotted this coat from Vince at Neiman Marcus recently and not only was it impeccably tailored, the design and fabric of this coat is perfect for low temps. We’re thinking of taking a quick trip to New York in the next few weeks when the temps are going to start dipping and I am definitely taking it with me.
