About a week ago, I was invited by Persol to experience Art|Basel in Miami. I hadn’t been to Miami in a few years so I was super stoked to return. In the company of an amazing group of bloggers, we all checked in to our hotel, the beautiful and totally art/deco Shelborne Wyndham South Beach. We convened for a late lunch by the pool and later on in the evening, we were offered an eye exam to get prescription lenses for our new Persol Optical glasses (More on that in a future post). We concluded our first night with dinner and drinks at Forge.
Our second day kicked off with breakfast at the fabulous Delano followed by a “blogger hang” on the paradise that is South Beach with drinks, snacks and plenty of laughs. I also wanted to take advantage of a beautiful day to do a fun photo shoot. After a quick pit stop to our rooms to freshen up, we headed to the center of Art|Basel itself, the Miami Convention Center where we took in some of the finest examples of modern art in the world. Our last night was spent enjoying a fine dinner at Siena Tavern in a private dining room and it was the perfect way to cap our wonderful Miami adventure.
