The mr and I were invited to celebrate the much anticipated Grand Opening of the SLS Las Vegas last weekend, built on the site of the old Sahara. The outfit above was what I wore while we drove up to Sin City. 

The room was a really good size, brightly lit and with 2 huge mirrors on the each sides! Perfect for checking out your outfit before hitting the town 😉

The poolside cabanas are gorgeous at the SLS, love the black and white stripes with a touch of cotton candy pink.

Look who I bumped into, lovely blogger extraordinaire Julie from Sincerely Jules. I love how we both picked white for the evening.

And…the day after! I was craving for these Lo Mein noodles we sampled at the tasting the previous night. 

These dumplings were just amazing. Notice the edible real gold flakes on top, yummy!!

Finally, you cannot leave Vegas without giving it a shot at the slot machines, especially the first day it’s open. Sadly I didn’t win anything but I sure had a wonderful time! Thank you Cara for having us as your guests and thank you SLS Vegas for the wonderful evening.
