TARGET STYLE – BLACK AND WHITE

I am finally back in LA after two tiring but exciting and eventful weeks in New York. I began my trip a few days before fashion week officially started and here’s the reason for that. A wonderful opportunity to attend Target’s Fall fashion show. It was held at Pier 57 right by the Hudson River which has now been transformed to a cultural hub and creative centre. The show was an amazing way to kick off my fashion week exploits. Look for more insights in my upcoming posts. But lets start with the biggest part first, the fashion!
From the pics above, you can see that there are three specific trends that you will be seeing at a Target store near you.  In next month or so I will running through the rest of the trends with you guys but for now, I’m taking on the “black and white” aesthetic first.

Black and White is on trend in a big way right now. It’s definitely an enduring look that seems to keep popping up. For my take on it, I picked up this herringbone shirt and paired it with this amazing motive embossed track jacket. After 2 weeks of running around in heels, I was desperate for comfort so I chose my vintage loafers and incorporated another trend I seem to be noticing more and more, androgyny.
