Hey everyone! So another year is here and it’s really got me thinking about my lifestyle. I have been wanting to improve certain aspects of my life to start feeling healthier. The Mister and I have successfully managed to start our day earlier and for someone who is definitely NOT a morning person, this was not easy at first! I’m still a grump till I get my morning coffee but hey, one thing at a time!
Successfully following through on that change did inspire me to work on something else that I’ve always found really difficult to change. I’m sure lots of you can relate to this, we used to do takeout multiple times a week, sometimes twice a day! It’s definitely understandable that after a long day of work, the last thing we want to deal with is making a meal from scratch. But both the Mister and I noticed that we were feeling a little sluggish as our day went on plus we both put on a couple extra pounds. So I wanted to really make an effort to change our eating habits. We went out and invested in some quality kitchen knives and cookware.
Eating out most times a week is quite bad for you especially if like me, you’re favoring the more unhealthy options out there. But with my new toys, I’ve been reinvigorated and working with fresh ingredients is so inspiring. We’ve even started going to our weekly Farmers Market to get our fresh meat and veggies for the week. It’s been a few weeks now and we feel so much better and have a ton more energy!
