SNOW DAY

So we were in the city for our very first NYC blizzard. I’ve always avoided it because I wasn’t sure if I could handle the wind chill and dipping temps.

Instead of staying in, we decided to embrace the snow and spend the day in Central Park. The day after the snow is probably the worst, not gonna lie. Walking in the dirty slush is definitely not fun but hey when you live in a city as amazing as NYC sometime the ugly comes after the beautiful. And Central Park in the snow is something else!

I don’t know if it was the amazing scenes around us (kids and dogs running and diving the snow, everyone taking pics etc etc) or the miles of walking, but it really didn’t feel as cold as I thought it would. Now don’t get me wrong, it was still a very cold day and I definitely take LA weather for granted. On a related note, I totally get it why NYC people tease us West Coast folks for getting all bundled up when it hits the low 60s!
