Another NYFW is in the books and what a great one it was for us! The one thing that really had a big hand in making it that way was our base of operations. The 11 Howard is a fantastic new property in one of Manhattan’s hottest areas. Soho is the place to be and when you’re staying right in the heart of the neighborhood, it’s so easy to tap into the inspiring energy of the city.

The hotel itself is a veritable Instagram hotspot. The architecture is minimalist and tasteful with nods to both contemporary and classic vibes. In fact, when you first walk into 11 Howard you’ll see a lobby that perfectly captures this with fashionable “creators”, who aspire to make your experience of the hotel a memorable and enjoyable one, gathered around a round table housing a few tablets to check you in instead of a traditional front desk. We found the whole experience refreshing and very efficient, especially coming in on an early morning flight with very little sleep behind us.

Once we were all checked in, we were greeted by a room that perfectly suited our needs. It goes without saying that with all the outfits I brought, we needed lots of space and the full length mirror really came in handy! 😉 From day 1, we loved the location as getting to and from shows was a breeze, even in the legendary traffic of Manhattan. The struggle is real, people but Soho and the 11 Howard really came through for us!

And of course, we love shooting in Soho. We usually stay uptown when we’re in the city but always find our way here to shoot so it was especially nice to basically be able to walk out of the lobby and start snapping pics! Seriously guys, you can’t NOT find a perfect place to take some pics. Your fav corner from yesterday already occupied? Walk in any direction and you’ll find another perfect spot in minutes! This might seem to be #bloggerproblems but seriously, the neighborhood is an urban photo paradise! It also didn’t hurt that both Chinatown and Little Italy are a few blocks away so finding great food was ridiculously easy.

We loved starting our day at The Library which also houses the concierge desk. A delicious breakfast and an invigorating cup of coffee as we went over our agenda really primed us for the day. And returning to a nightcap at the darling bar in Le Coucou was a routine that quickly became the norm. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at 11 Howard and we want to thank everyone at the hotel for making our stay such a fantastic experience.
