I'll have to admit that I solely bought this pair of shoes because of how awesome they looked on my favourite bloggers. It became my most sought-after shoes by Jeffery Campbell. I have 3 pairs of JCs but these by far, are my fav.

Ha! Don't be embarrassed about your purchase, I too have considered getting these puppies but fear that I'll never wear them because of their height! Have you seen the shots of Jessica Alba wearing a similar (probably wayyy more expensive version) while in Paris for fashion week, they look great with black tights and a skirt!
